Chapter Seventeen

Flynn

Flynn had never become so turned on during a biology lesson before. He couldn't think about the barb without remembering the barb. That first contact had felt like winning the jackpot while already winning another jackpot. He'd come so hard and in rapid succession.

Despite everything, he felt his pants tighten.

"During climax, I also gave you my mating fire. Technically, we made that together. The flame is meant to keep you healthy and to ensure that your body is ready for reproduction."

Reproduction. Reproduction. Reproduction?! "Are you saying I could get pregnant?"

"One of the functions of a mate is for them to propagate."

Well, that had to be just about the worst way of saying it. Flynn wasn't sure how he felt about the possibility of becoming pregnant, of propagating. But, he knew what he felt about, or rather what his body felt about having sex again. His body wanted it. He only grew harder with every passing second. "Does anything else happen to my body that I should know about?"

"Are you referring to your sudden and intense arousal?"

Flynn jerked away from the question, but Sebastian held him tight. "Don't be alarmed, but I can smell it as well as see your dick growing hard."

"You can smell it?" Flynn parroted conveniently choosing to focus on the safest part of what Sebastian had just said.

Sebastian moved, readjusting Flynn so that he sat with his bottom pressed into Sebastian's groin. "You're experiencing the beginning of mating heat. We both are, though in this one situation you are the instigator. As your body grows more adept at taking my seed you will begin to crave it until you are pregnant. Your body releases pheromones and, as a dragon, my sense of smell is strong enough to detect those pheromones. I know you are turned on right now because you smell like a summer night."

Flynn didn't know if he could distinguish what a summer's night smelled like. He did know that the unrelenting rod in Sebastian's pants was doing horribly amazing things to Flynn's body. In fact, he felt more detached from the conversation at hand. He cared less about the prospect of maybe getting thrown into the river— though that didn't seem likely to happen anymore— and more worried about getting Sebastian's cock inside of him again. "This mating heat, is it sort of like an all-consuming need to do nothing but get fucked? If it is, then I'm totally going through it right now."

Sebastian growled the force of it vibrated through both their bodies. He lifted Flynn's face for a kiss that was much gentler than Flynn had been expecting. "Tell me now, Flynn and don't dare fucking lie to me. Is this a trick? Did your buyer give you anything to wear or have you drink a potion of any sort?"

Flynn had to force a few breaths in his nose and out his mouth before he was calm enough to understand exactly what Sebastian was asking him. The question seemed important. "I've never met my buyer.
